Beaufort Summer Camp Curriculum
The curriculum is geared around a weekly theme. which will follow the teaching of all things science. To gauge each students understanding of science we will follow the core standard for science according to each grade level.

Your child spot at the camp is not secured until payment is received. Spaces are limited. Your 1st week payment is due when you register your child. For any addtional week(s) A $50 Non-refundable deposit per week will hold your child spot.

Written permission from the parent or guardian must be given to the site director at the Summer Camp site if someone other than the parent or guardian is authorized to pick up child.

Behavior
Students are expected to behave in an appropriate manner toward their teachers and each other. Children with recurrent behavior problems will be dismissed without refunds. Students and parents are required to review, sign and turn in a discipline policy form on the first day of Summer Camp attendance.
Belongings
E=MC² SUMMER CAMP is not responsible for any damage or loss of personal items that are brought to the summer camp programs. Campers should not bring cell phones or personal electronic devices. E=MC² SUMMER CAMP assumes no liability for lost or stolen personal items.
Disability Requests
E=MC² SUMMER CAMP reasonably accommodates students with special needs in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act requirements. Because of the academic nature ofE=MC² SUMMER CAMP, students need to function educationally, emotionally and behaviorally at or near grade level. The students must be able to adjust to class changes with a variety of teachers and teaching styles, and adjust to loosely structured interaction with peers. Any reasonable accommodation(s) for meaningful participation in the program must be requested within a reasonable time before classes begin. Hours
Summer Camp is from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Late pick up fee Summer camp: After 3:15 p.m. $15 late fee
Late fee will be assessed after each 15 minute increment.
Class Schedule
Weekly schedules are posted online for each summer camp program. Campers are grouped by grade and age level and switch classes throughout the day. New topics may be introduced or a repeated topic may be taught but with the introduction of new materials. This way, children who attend every week will stay challenged and interested.
Food
Students should bring their lunch, snack and drink. Refrigeration and heating are not available.
Dress code
Play clothes are suggested so that the child is comfortable; and closed-toe shoes.
